Solar panels now installed
at Chieveley Village Hall
This was a very big project undertaken at Chieveley Village Hall and a very popular one which involved the installation of solar panels on the west side of the building creating the option of renewable energy and a reduction in the halls electrical costs.
Installed by JEM Energy they are a company with a 15 year track record as solar power installers, with their commercial and home solar panels being delivered nationwide.
Needless to say we were very pleased with the results as we were looking for renewable energy solutions due to the fact that running a village hall proves ever difficult with the constant rising costs.

A big thank you to JEM for the efficient installation with solar panel costs at a good affordable price for a community facility such as ours.​

Out door events
Our extensive grounds are ideal for so many out door events and are particularly popular with many UK dog clubs that host their annual shows here.
The UK's longest running fireworks display is also held at Chieveley Recreation Centre every 5th November as well as the highly popular Chieveley fete.
We are proud to be hosts to a very popular pitch here in West Berkshire.

The team at Chieveley Village Hall were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and their support before, during and after the event truly was first class. I have booked again for another cat show in May and already booked twice for 2026..

We used Chieveley Village Hall for a family gathering (April 2025). It's a great facility - well-equipped and very easy to use. The booking was managed in a friendly and welcoming way, and the booking fee was very reasonable. We will definitely use the hall again!
